On Saturday, October 8th, Leesa and I got married. It was a simple small wedding in Schroon Lake, NY. We rented the Bandstand for the ceremony and the Boathouse as a place to keep the food (and a fallback shelter in case of rain). The weather gods were really looking out for us for as everybody in the Northeast knows, the Columbus Day weekend weather was just perfect.
People arrived at lunchtime and we all hung out enjoying the weather. My kids played tennis and badminton, and we had the kayaks at the boathouse. I went for a short paddle just 2 hours before the wedding. The service was a 4 PM. Afterwards we all had dinner at a restaurant in town. Everything went perfect. The weather was the biggest gift of the day. We couldn't have asked for better weather.
I'm including a post here for family and friends to see some of the photos. These pictures and a few additional ones can also be seen on my Picasa web album
